How sad. People don't get what they want and ADA has become the scapegoat. What's worse is that, in my expereince, it's other minority groups that are most to blame. You think they would be sensitive to the needs of other groups that face discrimination but I guess such unity is too much to ask for. Even within the disability community I hear comments, for example, that people with learning disabilities are not really disabled.
It is no suprise that people in power play a game of divide and conquer. But it's sad that so many people are willing to play right along with it.
